Day 4 - Luke Birch
And so we reach day 4 of my blog, today Luke wants me to talk about bromances and I will admit....I can't wait for this one...
For this one I was literally, just given the word bromances so I think that means I can pretty much write anything I want about bromances, so I shall, so be warned, from here on in, what you read may make no sense at all...
What is a bromance?
I thought that to be safe I should begin by defining the word bromance incase somebody has been living in a cave in the middle of no-where for the past few years... If you were to google (other search engines are available) the word bromance you will find many definitions, but the one I agree most with is "the intense love shared between heterosexual males. A form of male bonding and usually invisible to the naked eye. This bond is normally only shared between two males that have a deeper understanding of each other, in a way no woman could ever realise". At this point I'm expecting people (mostly women) to be claiming that this can't be true and that it is all just some huge conspiracy theory or tale used to cover up the truth and has gotten out of hand quite drastically...like the bible perhaps?
Do celebs have bromances?
Of course they do, they are justnormal human beings after all living organisms that resemble humans... I hear you shouting at your screen "But this can't be true! I can't think of any!" So, being the nice, kind guy I am, I've saved you the time and have come up with my top 5 celeb bromances...

Not in the slightest, a bromance is something much much more special than that. I mean, I personally have a bromance going, have done for many a year, I have best friends, but this is different. This is a case of being so entwined with somebody you don't even have to speak and they know what you're thinking, somebody you can always rely upon, and someone you know you can be as much of a tool around as you want and know they won't care. A bromance is a bond stronger than the human mind can comprehend...
Well Luke, I don't really know what else there is to say, I hope you enjoy what I have done...

Day 3 - Megan Thimm
And here we are on day 3 of my blog, today Meg wants me to "tell the person I like that I like them" and to post proof on here...this could go badly wrong...
When I was told that was what I had to do I was a bit confused as to what Meg was expecting me to write on here, so I spoke to her and it turns out I have to write about why I like them, then post proof that I've told them I like them...
Well, where can I begin...
We met quite a while ago, but never really hung out a lot. Then come Easter I started seeing them quite a lot more down by the river, but Easter soon came to an end and it would be a case of not really seeing her again until summer was just arriving... At this point I saw her as no more than a friend, and it wouldn't be until after the summer that this would change. Throughout the summer, a lot happened, I lost my best friend to another land, and the people I least expected to be there for me helped the most, and she was one of them.
When one door closes, another door opens...
After everything that happened in the summer I got to know her better and we started talking more, just general conversation, but talking to her was beginning to become the highlight of my days. Then as time went on I started seeing more of her, every time I went into town she was there. This should of been a great feeling, but it wasn't, it just built up guilt and angst because of the life she had at that point.
Why I was dreading doing this...
Well, I'm not going to say much about this because it would give it away who it is. But, basically, a lot has happened in her life, a lot of things which mean me telling her I like her is not the smartest move, but I have anyway for the purpose of this blog... The other reason I was dreading it is the fact that, it could potentially ruin multiple friendships, from what I can see it's not ruined my friendship with her, but I fear that when certain other people find out they won't be so happy...

As the title for this section may imply, it's time for the proof...
Well, A few things to say about this... Yes I did do it over facebook, Yes I know that's not a great choice on my part, Yes I know it's badly worded, but it was part way through a conversation. Also before the inevitable question is asked, the pink square is to hide their name, but I left the e visible. because when people were trying to guess who it was yesterday, one question was. does their first name end with an e, well, that certainly looks to be the case...
Well Meg, your day is done, I hope what I've done is what you expected...

Day 2 - Connaugh Davey
The second day of my blog goes to Connaugh, and she has asked me to write about social groups in High Schools and colleges...be warned...we may be here a while...
Well, as anybody who has ever been to high school or college will know that not everyone fits in with everyone, and that are certain cliques which don't mingle together. I mean, when you think about it, everyone is roughly the same age, is going through the same education, lives in the same city, how different can these people be in comparison to each other...?
Nerds/Geeks
A social circle with very little desire to join from the outside world, yet one that never seems to fade, and one that exists in every school/college worldwide. You know the people I mean, the ones who sit around playing Magic: The Gathering during their lunchtimes, the one's who are already in class when everyone else (sometimes including the teacher) arrive, the ones who never miss a deadline no matter how much work they get given and yet will also find time for a quick game of World of Warcraft before bed. Well, what makes them so "different"? Nerds/geeks tend to get bullied and abused a lot during their school lives, and why? Because they're actually working hard to get a successful life, because they don't have madly rich parents who can buy their kids into top universities, and more importantly they're the guys who popular kids hate on most of the time, but will always turn to when they are stuck with homework, why? Because the nerds and geeks will always help because they don't have a bad bone in their body.
Jocks
A word that has become infamous in teenage education life. Wandering around campus in their school/college sports gear just to try and prove to the world they can kick a ball around a field or something like that. The kind of people who, rather than trying to get somewhere in life, would rather spend a week in the gym. In the films jocks are always portrayed as being quite, well, stupid and through my experience, that is pretty much spot on the truth. And also, I mean, whats the point in being over muscular, granted when you're young it looks pretty impressive and will help you get the "hot blonde model" of a girl, but, she is not going to want to stick around when you turn 40 and all that muscle becomes a mass of fat, when your joints stop working properly, she isn't going to sit around and give you sympathy. The jocks are also the guys who think they're better than everyone else because their daddy is going to buy them a Porsche and that they go out drinking every weekend like older guys, yet come Monday morning have to resort to tripping up the smart kids for their amusement...it's quite sad really.
Goths/emos/metalheads/punks/greebos
From the outside looking in, so many names for the same kind of people, yet for the people grouped under these names, they are all different too each other; I kind of agree with both points of view in parts. For this one I'm going to take a slightly different approach, I'm going to write a list of similarities across the board, then talk about the things that make each group different. So the similarites... Rock music (of many forms). And that is actually as far as the similarities go, a similar taste in music. I mean, you could argue they all wear black all the time, in realistic terms that's not true most where all sorts of different colour clothing. They all cut themselves, again, not true, most people who listen to rock music aren't masochistic. They all dye their hair black, well thinking about it, this is also wrong, you don't have to have black hair if you like rock music, I mean James Hetfield (lead singer from metallica) even he has blonde hair. So yeah, many many different people and personalities who are grouped together because of one similarity, a love for the same kind of music.
Popular kids
The ones who seem to fit in with a huge group of people, and because of this, seem to believe they are top of some kind of social hierarchy. When, in realistic terms, they are just normal everyday kids who have the typical things you expect mainstream kids to like, the things that make up "pop-culture". These are the kids who you could take out of one school, and drop into another school miles away, and they would fit in like they've always been there. They may all come from entirely different backgrounds from both ends of the scale, but they all come under one clique because they are all "the same". These are the people who listen to the chart music, wear the latest fashions, have the latest must have mobile phone or mp3 player. The worst part is, these are the kind of people who label all the other groups just because they aren't the same, but what would the world be without variation..?
Under this group I'm also going to mention the Preppy kids. The people who wear the top designer brands, the ones whose parents are going to buy them a luxury car when they turn 18, the kids who live in a nice large house and who enjoy the finer side of life, and like to show it off around campus, yet whilst still hanging out with the popular kids.
But there's more...
I know I haven't covered every social stereotype in schools and colleges, but I feel I've covered to majority of main ones. If you feel you don't fall into one of these categories the chances are you're one of the hybrid blurs that fall into two or more categories. And also, as a sub note, personally I dislike social stereotyping and think that people should be left to live how they want to live rather than being forced into some kind of clique.

Day 1 - Sophie Trigg
And so the first day of my blog goes to Sophie, and she wants me to write about my opinions on Bruno Mars...this could be fun...
Well, to begin with, there is no way I can deny the fact that he is a very talented singer and has become successful because of that, but the blunt truth of it is, I cannot stand the bloke.I mean, his songs, I really don't get why he feels the need to sing about the things he does. With a voice as good as his he could sing a lot more meaningful and well written songs. You know what? I think I'm going to rant about each of his hit songs...
Just the way you are
And so, his first number 1, and guess what? It's a love song. Let the ranting begin...I mean, lets face it, if he truly thought "When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change cause you're amazing, just the way you are" Then why did he use some other girl in his video, why did he not use the girl the song is about? To me, this makes me think he really doesn't think she is that amazing...either that or she got sense and told him where to stick it before he managed to shoot the video...
Grenade
And so, we move on to another year, and we find another number 1, and another love song. This one however is a bit different, because it's an unrequited love song, which lets face it, is not a smart move unless your only motive is to make money from people pitying you...which I believe he is doing with this one. I mean, he writes a song claiming he will do all these things for some girl he "loves", I mean catch a grenade? I would do that if the pin was still in place. Jump in front of a train? Yeah I would do that as well, providing I had time to jump back out the way. Basically what I'm trying to say is, he claims he'll do all these things for this girl, but he doesn't realise just how many flaws there are to his plan, and also, some pathetic unrequited love song isn't going to change her mind...
The Lazy Song
Well well well, the title says it all, it is truly a lazy piece of song writing, and more to the point, flaws in his writing yet again, but this time one much more major...
The opening line is one of my biggest problems with this song, he begins with a line which he emphasises multiple times during the song. The line in question is "Today I don't feel like doing anything" but, lets face it, you obviously felt like writing the song on that day otherwise we wouldn't be sat here discussing it would we? I mean, how much more blind stupidity can you get, THE FIRST LINE! And then, moving on, we come to the line "Meet a really nice girl have some really nice sex and she's gonna scream out 'this is great'" and this draws a few other major flaws...1) Nobody wants to hear about your sex life, what kind of perverts do you take us for? 2) What makes you so confident this is going to happen? 3) I'm pretty sure the girls from your previous number 1 songs wouldn't be too happy with this, because you clearly aren't talking about them, what happened to miss "amazing just the way you are"? Or even miss "I would die for you baby"?
Okay, what is there left to be said?As you will of probably noticed by now, I really don't like his song writing, but this doesn't deny the fact I love his voice, I mean, if he were to sing a meaningful song, then I might actually like him, but as it is, I hope the person who throws the grenade to him remembers to pull the pin....
Well Sophie, this is my opinions and rant about Bruno Mars, just as you requested and I hope you are satisfied with it...

An introduction
Before we begin, let me explain this bizarre concept of mine...
What I am hoping to achieve is that this is a blog, a blog where I am the one who posts daily, but it will have a slight twist, I do not choose the topic of each post, that is left entirely up to you...Anybody who follows or reads this blog can send me an idea of topic they want me to talk about, or something they wish for me to do and then upload proof of it happening. As much as I can foresee this being a bad thing to say, any suggestions will be considered.
What do I hope to achieve and why...?
Well basically, in my life so far I have done a lot of things I regret, and have been lucky enough to be helped out a lot by those around me and even random strangers, so, I have decided it is time for me to do my bit and repay those generous people. I know this may seem like no way to go about doing that, but I intend to help people by doing what they want me to do, rather than doing what I want to do. I hope to make this reach as many people as possible and would love people to help spread the word.

Send me a message through some form of media (contact details will be findable on my profile) containing your idea or wish, and why you believe I should do it, then sign it with your name and I will aim to do that which you desire.
